Howard Lutwak began playing the guitar at the age of eight. He has performed as a soloist and in chamber music ensembles. He has studied with Professor Ronald Purcell at California State University, Northridge, with Frederick Noad at the Idyllwild School of Music and the Arts, and with John Duarte at the Cannington International Guitar Summer School.

Howard played a moving program from his CD “From Generation to Generation”.   From Yiddish folk tunes, to traditional and modern liturgical settings, to Broadway and the movies, these songs represent Howard’s desire to bring to a broader audience these beautiful and moving works that span the generations of Jewish tradition.
