The Ventura County Classical Guitar Society met at the Pleasant Valley Senior Center, Camarillo, California, on Wednesday, September 27, 2006. The street address is 1605 Burnley, Camarillo, CA.
The meeting began with members’ ensembles and solos (click on the Photos 1, above), followed by our guest performers (Duo Erato). We had a huge audience for this meeting - the largest we have ever had.
Our guests: Risa Carlson and Martha Masters have been playing duets for many years. As “Duo Erato”, and they have produced a CD entitled Musings (click HERE). Martha Masters - who has performed for us twice before (3/2001 and 9/2005) - has a web site HERE. Risa Carlson’s web site is located HERE. Their performance was fabulous!

Our next meeting will be October 25th. Our guest for that meeting will be Aaron Spoor. Currently Aaron is on the faculty at Mt. San Antonio College, in Walnut, California, where he teaches Fundamentals of Music Theory. For more information about Aaron, check out his web site HERE.
Tina Karen Lo, from Hong Kong, will be our guest for our November 29th meeting.
The Ventura Classical Guitar Society welcomes anyone who plays the guitar or simply enjoys it. We meet the last Wednesday of (nearly) every month. Our meetings begin at 7PM and last 2 hours. There are no charges to attend.
