The Ventura County Classical Guitar Society presented its July 2010 program on the 28th to an audience of about 60 people.  We meet at the Pleasant Valley Recreation and Parks Senior Center, in Camarillo, CA.  For more information about us, visit VCCGS.com

Our guests for the evening were James Edwards, solo guitar, and Duo Solaré with James accompanied by Suzanne Duffy, flute; and It was a fabulous program!  Suzanne Duffy is currently the Production Manager at Camarata Pacifica in Santa Barbara, CA, and also the business manager for  The Aurora Ensemble.  James Edwards is currently the Director of Guitar Studies at Southern Oregon University in Ashland.  James, who also performs on Baroque guitar and Lute, last played for VCCGS in 2001.  He and Suzanne have performed as Duo Solaré for ~10 years.
